Day 1 recap

Wow! What a day; A long but enjoyable bus ride with a pit stop to eat and stretch our tired little legs... Due to unfavourable weather predictions for Thursday there was an itinerary change so our first official Boston stop was the breathtaking Fenway Park. Our guide, Ed, was full of stories and knowledge and everyone enjoyed the short but memorable tour. Then we were on our way to Plimoth Plantation but unfortunately due to traffic and construction we had to make yet another last minute change of plans and redirect to Boston Common Park, the oldest public park in America. After some much needed stretching and running around we headed to dinner at the Fire and Ice Grill Bar. What a great restaurant! Everyone found something to eat and they filled up to maximum capacity! Finally back to the hotel and once everyone was settled in... SPLOOSH in the pool to ensure they burned off what was left of their energy. Now they are all settled in bed (hopefully getting their beauty rest) and dreaming about the fun day awaiting tomorrow.
